I'm making a papercraft model. I'm familiar to the concept but I've run into a problem with this: the majority of the model's weight rests on two pieces of angled card. I've already planned to cut out some more pieces to glue into the same place but what else can I do to strengthen the area? Particular glues, sprays, other products etc?

Put a bit of wire in it, like a straightened paperclip or from coathanger, depending on the size.
