How do you know? With skeletons especially it can be difficult to tell. Or did you want examples of worlds that have non human undead? In Mask Of The Betrayer you end up storming the Fugue Plane alongside Rammaq, a titan demilich. How do you know he was a titan? Because his skull is bigger than your whole body.

That's cause humans are the only ones blessed enough to return from the dead.

It's easy to regognize races by skull shape
Also no tiny dwarven skeletons

Dragonlance novel trilogy had a Elmore drawing of a skeletal elf ghost. How do you know it was an elf? Apparently elf ears have bone and not cartilage....

Do they also have a baculum?

The lad from the Solomon Islands had a proper fucked up skull m8.

Looks like he got bashed about by a bunch of fucking batties.

I once had a zombie skeleton made of dwarf bodies.

I'd rather assume every creature in the Might and Magic universe has a human skeleton in its body ready to come out at the call of the necromancer.

Thanks NWN.

You're welcome.

Preach it.

Aren't non-living creatures like elementals, undead and golems unable to be raised?

Depends if you play regular HommIII or WOG

>They are all Human Skeletons.

So fucking much THIS.

I only recently noticed I hadn't been making any special distinction between skeletons and.. I just stopped. I just outright stopped that shit and never looked back and holy SHIT are Minotaur and Orc skeletons fun to use.

>How do you know? With skeletons especially it can be difficult to tell.

It realistically shouldn't be though. If you've got decent fantasy races their skeletons should be -noticeably- different from Human skeletons.

A Dwarven skeleton should be low, thick, built like a brick shit house and solid. Pronounced eyebrows- and would be almost human-like if it wasn't so thick.

An Elven skeleton should be thin, waspish, almost like a deer- the eye sockets and ear indents should be more pronounced, almost to an alien standard.

An Orcish skeleton should be easily recognizable if anything because there's no mistaking that vaguely humanoid skull that seemingly combines the feature of Hog, Dog, and Human all in one.. never mind the TEETH and the TUSKS.

Don't EVEN get me started on how different there teeth would probably be.
Seriously, if you have a hard time telling your fantasy races skeletons apart: >>34385658

Than you have even less diversity than real life races.

>human remains
They're _skeletons_, you racist fuck.
Anonymous 08/25/14(Mon)14:53 UTC+1 No.34388404 Report

Because human skeletons are better than other race's skeletons. They're always breeding and dying so fast there's heaps to go around too.
Anonymous 08/25/14(Mon)18:10 UTC+1 No.34391148 Report

That's cos humans are plentiful, die quickly, and bury their own in graveyards, while Elves will whisk their dead away to nirvana and orcs will simply leave their own to die where they stood(or eat them i dont know what orcs we're talking about). As such, its easier for a necromancer to go to a graveyard and get skeletons en masse instead of scouring the countryside for orcs with missing bones due to animal/orc eating pillaging or going into an elf town and taking a body during a ritual.

Anonymous 08/25/14(Mon)19:41 UTC+1 No.34392453 Report

No offense, but how does it "prove" evolution? How is it even evidence? There's plenty of actual evidence for evolution out there, how does this even compete?
Anonymous 08/25/14(Mon)19:47 UTC+1 No.34392532 Report

sorry, try "indicates" then. You knew the point.

Because it's a part of the highly subtle and ingenious storyline none of my charecters notice or evidently care about.
