I've been fooling around with http://fabpsb.free.fr/gindex.php for a while, and I really enjoy it. It's a way to create randomized lists out of whatever you have in your collection.

This game seems fun as hell and I love tiny space ships but I have no LGS

Nah we still like it plenty enough. It's just hard when we have only so much to speculate about, gethype about, or otherwise discuss. If I actually could you know, get out and play a fucking game or two, I'd post batreps or something along those lines.

Otherwise it's just us repeating the same things over again periodically, until we get something new to run through the blender again.

Here's a question that applies to both games (I think). Both are played in a roughly 3'x3' area according to the instructions, right? I imagine tourneys hew closely to that spec, but do people use bigger areas for casual games? Also, does anybody use mats or things like that? I'm in the process of painting some MDF pieces to build a play area and I need to figure out how big I should cut them.

My big dining room table is 44" wide, so 8" wider than the play area. I think it would be classy to have a bit of a lip to the play surface so I'm thinking of making the boards 44"x22" each and then doing a painted band showing the 36"x36" play surface.

Opinions?

you can play on larger areas and stuff if you want

3x3 is ideal for the 100 points size, but larger games will need more space

I love this game. Placed 3rd in my local Imdaar Alpha, and picked up the Z-95 Headhunter. I love the 'old tech, scraped together by desperate freedom fighters' theme of the Rebel Alliance, and I'm wondering how well Y-Wings and Z-95's would work together in a list.

The possibilities for Ion spam are encouraging, at least.

Just read the article on Echo. As soon as someone figures out how to actually play with him he's going to be the most terrifying thing in the world.

Is Echo the one with the bank de-cloak manuever? Yeah, he's basically Lt. Lorrir on crack. Scary concept.

The extra agility from being cloaked still applies against secondary weapons, right?

life expectancy of a wave 4 shipment at local stores this week is basically.

someone pops up on fb group page and posts ships just arrived.

20 min later (see pic)

fuck GW wishes they could sell shit like this haha.

Secondary weapons only ignore range modifiers. Otherwise, the cloak action would be easy to beat.

>I'd take your three E-Wings with my three Phantoms. I'd like to see how that would go.

it would be rough. i was messing with a list abusing the shit out of veteran instincts.

phantoms are really damned good espeically with high skill pilots. best counter is higher skilled pilots in manuverable ships.
>>
Anonymous 06/25/14(Wed)21:26 UTC+1 No.33003276 Report

>>33003144
best counter i come up against phantoms is this so far and it's untested:

• Tycho Celchu - A-wing (26) - Veteran instincts (1)
• Total : 27
2 • Corran Horn - E-wing (35) - Veteran Instincts (1) - Advanced Sensors (3)
• Total : 39 •
Wedge Antilles - X-wing (29) - R7-T1 (3) - Veteran Instincts (1)
• Total : 33

99 points total.

it should really be tweaked up. big weakness vs swarms tho. i really need to swap something out for a bwing atleast for firepower/tankyness.
