City/Terrain help Anonymous 06/21/14(Sat)01:24 UTC+1 No.4240351 Report

Hey guys, I recently picked up a SH MonsterArts Millenium Godzilla and he's freaking amazing, but I really want something to go along with him, like a diorama environment so its not just sitting on my shelf. I'm looking at the Godzilla "destruction city" set with the crushable buildings, but it only comes with two full ones when all the pieces are together, and even then the buildings will be tiny. Something like in the picture is what I fantasize about but I doubt something like that is purchasable. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You could try N-scale train buildings. They're still going to look 'big' (they're only 1/160) but industrial or office buildings should look right. You can also use foam coreboard to make buildings, you could make a shit-ton from a single sheet. Tomytec also makes a line of buildings but they're kind of expensive (they have a pre-assembled refinery set but it's $200+) and slightly bigger than 1/160.
A kit worth looking for is the supposedly HO scale Heljan nuclear power plant...the cooling tower is slightly shorter than MG would be, it really looks N scale aside from the doors.
