Doubles Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:11 UTC+1 No.4405550 Report

Am I the only one who buys doubles?
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:19 UTC+1 No.4405562 Report

Nope. They were pretty popular.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:20 UTC+1 No.4405563 Report

I occasionally buy doubles.

Doubles I have:
NECAs Warrior Alien
SWB 6" Prototype Boba
Figuarts Shinken Pink
Figuarts Momotaros

Also, what about the same figure from multiple lines? Does that count? I have duplicates of several Riders between Souchaku Henshin and Figuarts.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:22 UTC+1 No.4405564 Report

I buy every DBZ figuarts since Trunks in triple then sell two of them a year or two later
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:22 UTC+1 No.4405565 Report

Only if it's something I really love and isn't too expensive.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:24 UTC+1 No.4405566 Report

No, you are not a special butterfly.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:37 UTC+1 No.4405579 Report

You wouldn't happen to be willing to sell one of those Momotaros, would you?
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:44 UTC+1 No.4405586 Report

Not trying to be special really. I was just curious to see if anyone else did the same.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)06:44 UTC+1 No.4405588 Report

I'd buy two of every Bateman figure
McBalderus 09/08/14(Mon)07:09 UTC+1 No.4405615 Report

I have a shitload of SAS variants of the same molds, four Figuart Riotroopers, like 6 (?) Of those hand robots from MGS, a few drossels and some other stuff
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)07:23 UTC+1 No.4405639 Report

I buy triples.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)07:24 UTC+1 No.4405640 Report

No, sorry. One is the DX version.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)08:47 UTC+1 No.4405728 Report

Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)09:13 UTC+1 No.4405744 Report

Why ask stupid questions when you know there are many legitimate answers?

my boner is diamonds
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)09:26 UTC+1 No.4405758 Report

I buy doubles when I think it's a figure that may sell out quickly and prevent me from getting a replacement if something is wrong with it. I don't want a refund, I want the fucking figure I was looking forward to. If both end up great I can always sell the other one to get my money back. It's really not that much of a hassle.

Sometimes I also hold on to the double if I feel it will go way up in value. Then I basically get the original figure for free or massively discounted.
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)14:38 UTC+1 No.4405969 Report

>only buying doubles
Gravon 09/08/14(Mon)14:44 UTC+1 No.4405972 Report

Whats the point?
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)15:27 UTC+1 No.4406001 Report

Never had a character I was willing to army build.

Considered the Shocker Combatman, but I realized that getting him just to fight my Rider 1, then getting a bunch more of him, well it was just a slippery slope for a character/display that wouldn't mean that much to me.

Same thing keeps me from picking up 1 or 2 MEPES version Robot Damashii F91s to do an after images setup.

does it count if it's...
does it count if it's double this many?
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)16:53 UTC+1 No.4406260 Report

is not whether to be excited or fascinated by the quality of the structural design and technical mastery
Anonymous 09/08/14(Mon)17:08 UTC+1 No.4406288 Report

I'd go for all of this reasoning, really. Although I haven't done so very often. Last time was actually because I accidentally ordered the Cherno Alpha/Coyote Tango set from two different retailers. It's a big box, but I guess I can hang onto it for a while just in case.

Me too. I have 9 Revoltech Yotsuba figures. 3 of the original, 3 Summer Vacation and 3 of the Renewal Box.

After playing with the first 2, I was worried about snapping off a wrist peg. I may have gone overboard, but I'm happy. It's given me the chance to modify some of them into Marvel characters.

IS that Jada's non-scale actually 1:18 scale Warthog?
