So, now that Mazinger's arm is firmly deadlocked in the powered Rocket Punch, how am I, a mere mortal, to remove it?

I had the same fucking problem with mine a week ago. That thing is badly designed, the ball-joint socket in the powered rocket punch is stronger than the elbow peg, so it's a pain to remove because the arm disconects from the body.

I finally managed to do it like pic related, that way is more difficult to the arm peg to pop off, but it was frustrating anyways. Keep doing it like this until the powered rocket punch comes off.

Well, it seems my advice was late, but maybe my shity drawing helps someone else.

Glad you managed to remove it, anon.
