Because Im not a filthy pig and know how to treat my possessions properly.

>In addition to its promotional role, the dust jacket protects the book covers from damage.
>Throughout the nineteenth century, nearly all dust jackets were discarded at or soon after purchase. Many were probably discarded in bookstores as the books were put out for display, or when they were sold; there is evidence that this was common practice in England until World War I.

while were at it. each figma box comes with one of those cut-out-plates. what is that even good for? i dont see any purpose of that. if there weren't those cut-lines i could use the package background as a nice display background but no. it looks shit with this cut-out-line and i dont know why i should cut out a worthless square of cardboard
