Why is Papo so based and why does Scliech feel like sextoy scrotums?

I recently impulse bought the brown version of that T-Rex and the Spinosaurus. My first Papo dinos and I was blown away by the detail and quality of the sculpt/paint jobs. Even the inside roof of their mouths are perfectly detailed! The Spinosaurus in particular is stunning to me.

Thinking of grabbing the running T-Rex, even though it's more of a V-Rex from King Kong, it just looks so cool. Also got my eye on the Triceratops and the Stegosaurus so I can have some herbivores for proper dino battles! Any thoughts to share on them?

If you like the look of it you should buy it. Even though the OVA may have been terrible, it's a fantastic toy. Really fun, really poseable, and the landspinners offset the balance of the figure and allow it to to take some really daring poses that would normally be very difficult or impossible without stand support.

If you have the boost effect parts from SRC Dekaranger Robo (pictured here), they look really great with the Glasgow for skidding/dashing poses.

You know I was aware of the older imaginext line, and have been fighting the temptation to buy them up for my Nephew (when he starts playing with toys, holy shit you'r almost 2 and you don't like toys?! what the FUCK is wrong with you? No son of mine...) but I held off pretty okay. Now having seen these? FUCK those are garbage compared to the earlier designs. You know the dino stlization itself isn't inherantly bad or anything, but they look like they're cast in metal and powercoated, then they slapped on a overdesigned piece of technoshit to it's back that looks like it'll fall off at anymoment and called it a day.

Fuck, I mean how was I so blind to the awesomeness of this toy?
