They look like customs based on the Microman Acroyear characters.

WonFes exclusive, Takara-approved 3rd-party female versions of the Acroyear, Acroyear 2, and President Acroyear, the villains of the Microman franchise.

They'll probably cost a bajillion yen

newfag here, came across this thread and the term 'microman' reminded me of something i used to have (pic related). seeing as this is a microman thread, i feel it most appropriate to ask here.

That's Robotman Ace. There's also Baron(best) and Cross for ones most similar to him. They're part of the Magne Power series of Microman, which had several lines. One of my favorites being Endeavor.

Everything under Magne Power is related, but the magnetic joints are, sadly, very weak. There's a way to strengthen them by putting in some rubber, but it hasn't worked very well for me.

Hey, I got this guy at an anime convention last year. Good to finally learn something about it.
>>4284095
Really? Magnets seem pretty strong for mine.

microman has always been a thing for me. clear parts and chrome do a good mix. nips know their thing, truly.

my only gripe is the joints are kinda hard to tighten once they're loose

>>4284109
the magnets get weak over time. my AcroMonster set is very floppy

Handle the Biomachine figures and come back to me on that. Bought the whole sleight of 'em in '06 for the sake of the four-vehicle giant robot, two of the figures wound up having crumbling clear plastic ankle joints. Only managed to get a replacement for one, and I can already see stress fractures on it.

...chrome is perfectly fine, though.

I've long, long lost the images, but here's how it was described:

- Get a sheet of rubber.
- Cut squares to fit into that space between the metal plates.
- Keep doing this until the space is full and slightly over the metal plates.

This allows for there to be friction at the joint. I think like >>4284128 mine were too weak. I'm considering popping them apart and putting new Neodymiums in, but other than Baron and Endeavor, I don't really care, and still need a second Baron so he can have double rocket fists.
