I've been studying in London since early January, and I've been traveling all over Europe whenever I have free time. So far I've been to Wales, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Budapest, Prague and Berlin, and have been to Rome and Florence on a previous European trip. I'm set to go visit a buddy in Ireland sometime next month.

I want to travel to one more big city, by myself this time because all the others trips have been with a large group of friends. Any suggestions? I'd probably only be able to go for a long weekend (leave Thursday, return Sunday). Where do you think the best place for a 21 year old male to spend a weekend alone?

Have you thought about somewhere in Switzerland? I heard Z├╝rich is a pretty cool place to go for younger people. It's also a very city.

Vienna and Warsaw are both pretty cool. Probably Vienna would be better on your own than Warsaw. What are your interests / what kind of stuff do you want to do on your trip?

If central europe is empty, then why is switzerland, austria, bavaria, and the best parts of italy there?

I think >>843900 meant that it's empty on OP's map, and therefore he should pick a spot there to visit.

A good option is to go on a website called 'drungli.com'. It searches for the cheapest flights from an airport/city of your choice. So for example you might find that the cheapest flight from London on the 8th of May is to Belgrade, and go there for just 10 quid.

Otherwise, I see a huge empty space in your map in the north of Germany. So fucking go to Hamburg, and you might as well drop by Copenhagen if you haven't seen it yet
