hello /trv/. I am taking a road trip around the western part of the USA and I am looking for new ideas and/or suggestions for things to do and places to see. This is my plan so far: from portland travel north to glacier national park. Spend 2 nights there and head down to yellowstone national park, possibly viewing the grand tetones. After that I plan on heading south and visiting echo park dinosaur fossil bed. Next is on the colorado for four nights, taking a ride on the famous silverton train along the river. From there will be canyon land national park in Utah, zion national park, and the grand canyon, then off to las vegas for a few nights then back home to oregon. All suggestions and comments are welcome. The trip can only be 15 nights long. It's short I know but I work fulltime and have other vacations planned this year and cannot use more time off. Thank you!

What's your budget for the trip? You're buying food, right? How much do you spend a day?

My friends and I were in a walking trip about six month ago, that took about 7-8 days, but we had food with us. That was a mountain hike and we were almost out of supply, tried to catch or kill something, but we failed, so we decided to go back lol.

Your dog is beautiful.
I'm considering raising a german shepherd to travel outdoors with me. How does yours do?
