how is turkey for a weeklong visit?

I just watched a video on turkey and the food looks pretty good, the baths look kind of fun and bizarre, and it has the vibrancy of middle eastern culture that seems to have been stamped out of religiously orthodox cultures stemming from arabia (is this a correct assumption?)

To me, the whole vibrancy thing is big. Is turkey the best me/islamic state to experience that?

Vibrancy? Dunno wtf you mean. Do you mean gay people having sex in dark corners in unclean bath houses? Or do you mean a tolerance for any religion other than radical islam? You seem to be using the words "orthodox" and "vibrancy" wrong. Explain.

To me there is a wider variety of activities that are indulged in, from what I can see. Different sects of islam, with flourishing thought (such as rumi), strange practices, such as oil wrestling, more vibrant colors in textiles and art, and clothing.

People are allowed to express themselves without being beheaded. Don't you think that is the definition of vibrant?
