So I finally got myself a Sega Saturn! Never had one as a kid. I have some games, but no controller! In the mean time im ripping/downloading ISOs of the games I own and would like to play them on an emulator.

So what emulator do you recommend for the the Sega Saturn? I googled around a bit and it seems there is no such thing as a good Saturn Emulator but I did see multiple posts on forums to download the "best" Saturn emulator but the links were mostly from Megaupload or needed registration which needs admin approval on dead sites.

Also, I have access to quite a few Saturn games I can rip as I work in a mom and pop retro video game store.

SSF is the only Sega Saturn emulator that works with most games, you can keep Yabause as an alternative since it can run some games that SSF isnt able to run properly (Wanchai Connection for example).

check this site for compatibility lists. i actually have a few versions of ssf just for certain games. also know that you need to mount the game iso and choose that virtual drive in ssf, and then exit once so it saves.

saturn emulation is generally very good, but i don't get max fps in fighters megamix... meanwhile I'm perfect in NiGHTS and everything else
