There are plenty of instances of retro arcade games killing people, notably Berzerk (two confirmed deaths). The nausea inducing game was probably the a revision of Tempest, in which the entire field rotated instead of the blaster.

Polybius is real. They had one in the arcade I frequented in Lake Oswego, Oregon from at least 1983-1985. I was shit at it so I barely played it but it was definitely real.

inb4 someone asks for photographic evidence, people didn't carry around cameras in their ppckets back then.

It was definitely real. Sometime between 1985 when I moved away and 1994 when I finally wanted to go back the arcade had turned into a hair salon so I don't have the faintest clue where the cabinet went but it's definitely real.
